Overpriced and disappointing

点评：This was such a big disappointment and overpriced. Tickets are £10.00 each. There were no steam engines. The journey only takes as long as it does because the train goes at walking pace. It is probably less than a mile. Nothing to see expect trees and bushes. The end of the journey turns out to be a three minute walk from where it starts. The engine and coaches are in dire need of refurbishment. Inside, the seats are dirty and tables dusty. It was Princess and Pirate day on the day we went. OK it was not aimed at our age group but a group of young teenagers ran around the train supposedly entertaining the young children with their attempts and making jokes and singing . It was quite embarrassing. There really should have been two coaches for those wanting to be part of the entertainment and one for those who didn't. The 'tea room' is scruffy and over priced for what turned out to be a sachet of cappuccino with hot water poured on it. The model railway is also disappointing.
