Lovely setting but poor value for what’s on offer

点评：We visited today with four children and paid £44 for entry, which honestly felt very overpriced for what’s on offer. The farm trail has a small selection of animals spread out along the path and a few homemade activity stations, but overall it was quite underwhelming.
What’s particularly frustrating is that you can’t access the outdoor tables or play area without paying the full entry fee, even if you just want to sit outside or let the kids play for a bit. The play area itself is very basic and definitely not worth the admission charge on its own.
The café setup also needs improving — there was no one actually serving, so if you wanted a drink you had to queue up again with everyone waiting to pay for entry, which made everything slow and inconvenient.
Overall, we only stayed about two hours and left feeling disappointed. The place has potential with some lovely surroundings, but at the current prices and setup, it really doesn’t offer good value for money. I’d suggest either lowering the entry fee or improving the experience significantly to justify the cost.
