点评：What an unforgettable day on Maho Bay Beach and Trunk Bay!
The adventure started with an open-air taxi ride along those famous, winding island roads—equal parts thrilling and “hold on tight!” fun. By the time we arrived at Maho Bay, we were already smiling. The beach itself is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, tucked into lush greenery, and just the kind of place where you instantly relax.
The water was perfect for exploring. Some areas were shallow, others a bit deeper, which made it great for all levels. Snorkeling was a highlight—we saw a stingray glide by and even a very large sea turtle, which was incredible. I was able to snorkel about half the beach with ease, and honestly could’ve stayed out there all day. Pro tip: head to the far right side next time—calmer waters and crystal-clear visibility made it even better.
Of course, no adventure is complete without a little hiccup—my phone battery died right in the middle of it (of course!), but thankfully my wife had hers, so disaster averted and memories saved!
We spent half the day soaking in everything Maho Bay had to offer, then headed over to Trunk Bay for the second half—and that just took an already perfect day to the next level. Between the two beaches, it felt like we experienced the best of St. John in one day.
Can’t wait to do it again!
