点评：This is an amazing family home with beautiful gardens steeped in history. It was the home of the Earl of Cardigan who led the Charge of the Light Brigade
The house has many rooms open to the public full of interesting memorabilia. I would recommend at least an hour or more to look around the house before heading off to the cafe for a drink and a cake.
Talk to the volunteers as they have extensive knowledge that you cant get just by looking in the rooms. There are information leaflets around which give a brief description but often there are interesting fact that the volunteers have picked up during their time at the house.
Learn about Adeline and other interesting characters, the current owners and their family who through hard work have restored and bought the house back to life
