Brilliant, off the beaten track and away from the tourists.

点评：We spent a brilliant few hours here and I'd highly recommend it, especially if you have children the same age as ours (8 to 13).
The museum itself is really well done and very informative, including plenty of hands-on elements. Upstairs are clothes the children can try on, and a great view.
We hired a couple of hammers and chisels and descended into the quarry to go fossil hunting. It's really surreal, far away the machines are working, still mining the limestone, but where we were sent, down near the turquoise pools, it's really calm and almost quiet.
We didn't find anything spectacular (compared to the stuff on display at the top), but every single piece of rock was cool, mostly it was fossilised Coral, but it's impressive. Needless to say, some pieces came home with us.
You should also try the local Faxe Kondi soft drink whilst you're in the area.
