点评：This weekend, 65 members of the 1st Easingwold Beaver, Cubs, Scouts, and our district Explorers headed to Xscape Castleford for a thrilling 90-minute ski experience, where they had the opportunity to complete their Level 1 Snow Sports Badge. This special event was made possible by a unique partnership with Snozone and Scouts.
From the start Amanda was so patient kind and articulate in providing for our dietary needs and children with disabilities who needed special equipment.
The girls front of house were so friendly and helpful organising us when we arrived.
All our equipment was preordered and prepared so there was no delay getting on the slopes
After a fun and educational session on the slopes with Sarah, Seb and Holly participants were assessed and celebrated for their efforts, with badges and special achievement medals awarded by Wayne. It was a day full of excitement, learning, and camaraderie.
The 65 young people (ages 6-18) who took part, and who are already looking forward to returning for their Level 2 snow sports challenge!
