点评：Please be aware that this is the Indian Ocean Christmas Island, not the Pacific Ocean Christmas Island, the TripAdvisor heading is wrong.
My wife and I took the orientation tour on our first day and I cannot speak highly enough about Chris the guide and the content of the tour. We were given so much very valuable information that made the rest of our stay on the island much more meaningful.
We chatted with a number of other tourists who were very uninformed and who missed out on very interesting sights because they chose not to take the tour.
We learned about history, locations, customs, and a number of special spots to see birds and find fruit growing.
I highly recommend the orientation tour, and it will make your stay on the island much better.
The second day we took the nature tour, and again Chris was extremely well informed about the natural wonders and the best places to find creatures. It also gave us much more confidence to travel the island on our own for the rest of our time there.
