A gentle day out (blow the cobwebs off)

点评：We’ve never been until today. Staff member at Mount Grace Priory recommended it to us as his favourite.
This house is one of those that retains the sense of the family (Jim and Ruth Pennyman) as though they just moved out.
Enjoyed hearing some history and a bit of a chat from the volunteers. Very welcoming place indeed.
This property has winter opening days and outside covered picnic tables in the Stable block. We visited in July and they had lots and lots of outdoor games and self led play activities around the grounds. So spacious that these don’t interfere with the sense of peace if you don’t have dogs or children.
There’s a small cafe that does some hot food (inc jacket potatoes in full and half portions) some cold food and the usual array of hot/cold drinks. There’s indoor and outdoor seating there and a dog friendly inside room to eat in.
Feels like there’s something for evryobe here.
