Smugglers' Notch Distillery的点评
点评：Wife and I visited the Smuggler’s Notch Distillery based on a recommendation from some of the local residents. We’d already done a wine tasting earlier in the week, so it was a similar but different experience doing a tasting of their liquors. We enjoyed their bourbons and rum, and I even liked their hopped gin (and I don’t tend to enjoy gin). Their maple bourbon had a nice hint of maple to the liquor, and their maple syrup aged in bourbon barrels had a nice hint of bourbon to the syrup.
Staff member working the distillery the day of our visit was both helpful and friendly. He was very knowledgeable of the distillery and their products, and he did a good job providing details and answering questions without being overbearing in his presentation. In addition to doing the tasting, we were able to get a couple cocktails and enjoy them at a table outside.
Drinks were good, and prices of the cocktails and tastings were reasonable. We bought a couple bottles to take back home with us.
