点评：The Biorock in Pemuteran is one of those experiences that really restores your faith in responsible tourism. It’s a coral restoration project that uses metal structures with a low-voltage electrical current to stimulate coral growth, making it faster and more resilient. Thanks to this system, the marine ecosystem is recovering, and you can now see plenty of healthy corals along with a wide variety of fish.
Snorkeling here is a great experience, although it’s worth noting that in some areas visibility can be limited due to sand turbulence. In those spots, it’s best to dive down about 3–4 meters to properly see the coral structures and marine life. In other areas, however, everything is clearly visible from the surface.
I’d definitely recommend bringing fins, as they make it much easier to move around and dive down comfortably. There’s no entrance fee, but we chose to leave a donation to support this kind of initiative, which genuinely contributes to protecting and restoring the environment.
