Excellent diving with very well run and safe operator
马富士潜水及水上运动的点评
点评：After 5 days of hardcore diving at Fuvamulah, I wanted more classic and relaxed Maldives diving in tourist hotspot Maafushi. I dived for 4 days with MDWS.
The booking was very efficient via Whatsapp and notably good value for the Maldives $780 for transfers, 5 days B and B in the mid range hotel above the dive shop and a 10 dive package.
Maafushi mainly attracts occasional holiday divers often with PADI OW tickets restricted to 18m. As a PADI DM I wondered if I might have to do less interesting dives. Not at all! I was assigned my own guide 121 for the whole trip. Redey is really friendly knowledgeable about the reefs and with an appropriate focus on safety.
After day 1, Redey recommended nitrox to get more time at 26-28m depth where the best action takes place. Good call. In the Kandooma Thila area we saw large schools of eagle rays, numerous grey and whitetip sharks, large tuna, Napoleons, turtles, schools of jacks. At $5 supplement per nitrox tank it’s again great value
Most days, the boat was full of holiday divers and MDWS managed them very well with ample dive guides to ensure smaller groups. They all seemed really happy with their dives.
In short, MDWS delivered everything I wanted and exceeded my expectations. Thanks especially to Redey for the great experience😊👍
