Unforgettable - Bhola of Dhela zone

点评：Booked our Safaris at Corbett National Park with Travel Gleam on 16th and 17th March.
On 16th we did Safari at Bijrani zone in second half. We spotted a lot of wild life (Wild Boars, Deer, Jackals, Peacocks, Barking Deer, Crocodile, Fish Owl and other exotic birds) but no sign of Tiger though. Our driver Abdul Kayyum did his best till last minute. I must say we enjoyed the dense forest and hilly terrain Bijrani offers.
On 17th we went for Dhela zone in first half with a hope to spot the big cat. Dhela zone is relatively much smaller zone and is territory of one male and one female tiger. We reached the gate a bit late and was last gypsy to enter the zone. We spotted pug marks of both male and female tigers quite early, spotted a hornbill duo setting up their nest, Deer and wild boar. We were on our way out (the last gypsy going out) when we spotted Bhola (the male tiger) relaxing on the edge of the Dhela road. He gave a full show. Our hard work paid off and the whole family was happy.
Overall, its a result of good planning and advice by Travel Gleam team. This was my second excursion with them and planning a third in May 2025. Highly Recommended.
