Darvaza Gas Crater的点评
点评：Everyone talks about this place as one of the most relevant place when you visit Turkmenistan....
When you leave the capital and the road itself disappears, that is when you can say that you are in the desert. Your own rally will just begin. Dunes, camels, towns and service stations in the middle of nowhere... a desolate and beautiful landscape.
On the way to the main crater the guide will stop you at a water crater, where you can see the gas bubbles, and a smaller fire crater.
When you arrive at the main crater, don't expect to find a hole full of fire. The dimensions of the crater are impressive, the heat and the smell are remarkable when you get out of the car. As you look up you will see groups of lit bonfires.
At night the image seen on social media is definitely retouched. You see an orange line in the darkness of the desert, however look up and you will see a clean sky full of stars.
