Route from Glossop Road to the Cafe - beautiful!

点评：Whilst pet-sitting in the area, I was looking for good walks to do with the dog. I parked up on Glossop Road and walked down the hill which meandered through beautiful woodland, down to the waterfall at the bottom which is very impressive. We then took the path towards the lake then walked along a path which had the lake on the left and river on the right. It was stunning. The tree canopy sheltered us from the rain.
I had a cup of hot chocolate in the cafe which was delicious, then walked back. I followed the mountain bike trail on the way back up the hill which was steep but fun. I needed a shower when I got home as I'd worked up a sweat on the uphill climb. Gorgeous walk - highly recommended. If you don't want to walk uphill, there's a car park near the cafe and you can walk to the waterfall which is flat.
