A definite 'must stop' winery - high quality wines

点评：We all (4 of us) in our party want the wine maker to know that the quality of the wines we tasted surpassed our expectations. This is because we have visited wineries in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and now New York, all of which are cold temperature grape varietals. My wife and I are from California, we visit Napa Valley 3-4 times a year, so we are accustomed to tasting and enjoying fine wines. We visited 3 different wineries in this area. The wines at Whitecliff Winery are the best we have tasted, not only on this visit to New York, but at any of the 3 aforementioned states. The wines at Whitecliff are on parr with the quality of the wines of Napa Valley. We tasted the Chardonnay, the Cabernet Sauvignon, a red blend of 3 wines (in Calif. it would be called a Meritage), and lastly a Merlot/Malbec blend. Everyone of these was of a very high quality. If you are going to do some wine tasting while in this area, this is a 'must visit' winery.
