点评：Average trip. We arrived at approximately 1:30 pm and made our way towards the entrance of the visitor center. After paying the admission fee, we bought two small cups of bird food, and received a quick overview of the site. There was quite a bit of construction work going on during the time that we went. As we walked towards the aviary, we saw multiple informational plaques in front of each bird cage, that provided some in-depth information about the birds that we were viewing. The actual aviary was quite small, and the birds were not very active. They were actually quite timid and would not eat any of the food in our cups. After viewing the aviary, we opted to hike the Barred Owl Trail, which was a roughly 0.6 mile trail on the property. The trail was quite muddy in certain spots and took us through the forest. On the trail, we were able to explore a giant treehouse, along with a playground area for kids. This stop was definitely a little disappointing.
Tip: I recommend spending 1 hour here if you truly want to see everything.
