Staff clearly don't want to be there

点评：Years ago hackwood was a really good place to go, the building was always buzzing with people, shelves well stocked, staff were polite and food from the Tea Room was always served fast and was lovely.
You could even sit outside and look at the lovely farmland while you had your breakfast.
Now, it's the complete opposite.
For starters it's set in the middle of a housing estate so all the lovely farmland has gone.
The place was dead when we arrived.
The shelves were stocked with weird, none farm related tat that was very over priced.
The tea room has completely lost its lovely rustic feel; it's like they're trying to be hip & different but failed!
The staff didn't have a single rush in them, just milling around chatting and not really doing anything... the food oddly took absolutely ages to arrive and wasn't how I remembered it.
I also had to remind the same member of staff 3 time that we hadn't had our drinks..it wasn't like they were even busy He wasn't doing anything!
I even said to my friend this is so weird.
It's like they've simply stopped trying and no longer care.
Maybe it's because they feel they no longer need to compete with anyone being the only farmshop in the area as before they were in competition with Happy Hens!
It is sad as it use to be a lovely place to go
I honestly don't think it'll be around for much longer, the lack of care from the staff alone will cause it to close, you can tell they don't want to be there.
