Kalbarri National Park Coastal Cliffs的点评
点评：The Kalbarri Coast just south of the the town of Kalbarri is dotted with side road turnoffs leading to a series of really nice lookout points where you can see cliffs meeting the sea. Each has a small carpark area close to the respective viewpoints so you don't have to walk particularly far to enjoy the seascape views.
We very much enjoyed whale watching at the southern most stops including Natural Bridge, Island Rock and Shell House & Grandstand, spotting quite a few during our recent August late morning visit. Bring binoculars to assist in searching for the whale blows and breaching.
If you fancy a bit of hiking, there is an 8km long (Bigurda Trail) that starts at the Natural Bridge Lookout (south) and ends at the Eagles Gorge Lookout (north). It is 8km one-way so consider doing a small section and circling back to your vehicle if your time is limited.
Overall, we rather enjoyed spending a few hours checking out the various lookout points along the Kalbarri Coast as well as doing a short 2km walk up the Bigurda Trail before returning to our vehicle at Natural Bridge Lookout. We saw loads of whales, some feral goats, a few kangaroos, a blue tonged skink along with kestrels and other interesting birdlife.
