Only sealed water bottles allowed in theatre

点评：There is a rule regarding water bottles that we fell foul of yesterday probably because this wasn’t enforced on our visit last week but was yesterday
They do not allow opened bottles of water into the theatre.
There is the usual bag check but any opened bottles have their contents tipped away in front of your eyes. You are told you can go to the bar for a water refill
Yesterday was HOT, I had frozen water in a commercial bottle and had cold sparkling water in a glass reusable bottle. Both were tipped into a bucket
I was able to have tap water refill, I usually drink tap water but theirs was not nice!
I asked why, but nobody had an answer. I asked why this rule wasn’t enforced last week, nobody I asked had an answer.
When I received the confirmation email this rule was on it but because it wasn’t enforced last week, when I bought a sealed bottle rather than made up my own, I presumed it wouldn’t be enforced yesterday.
This is a warning to others. There was a lot of muttering from people around us.
It was hot and I would happily have taken a drink from my bottle in front of security to prove it wasn’t a suspect
