点评:Twice I've now been to shows in 2025 and 2026 and twice we've had problems with people going on their phones despite pleading with staff before/during/after the show to beware of issues and deal with it. £200 spent on tickets per show, so £400 in total where I can't take in the theatre a can of deodorant but staff don't actively challenge and or confiscate phones from people who are ruining shows for others.
Just went to a performance for Miss Saigon where a man was texting and my Mum who's in her 60s politely asked him to turn it off. He then got angry with her and shouted at her towards the end of the show and my Mum was shaking and trying to get someone to help. The woman my Mum gestured to look scared and did not help my Mum at all, and I was trying to understand what had happened when I realised the guy was shouting at my Mum and soon backed off when I approached him with my Dad. We tried to speak with the manager at the end of the show and waited for 20 mins asking repeatedly to speak to management, who whilst only 5 metres away at the door (waiting for an ambulance at the door which is ofc understandable but we weren't even acknowledged by her and she was clearly avoiding us).
Why are we having to deal with this spending a fortune and my Mum comes out of a theatre show shaking from some guy shouting at her with no support from staff? Shocking management and a horrible experience despite showing some amazing shows, it's been ruined for us and we will be formally complaining and not going again.
