点评：What a wonderful little hidden GEM! I travelled from Chinchilla, heading towards Toowoomba to see family. Unable to check in to the Bowenville free camp or back of the pub due to heavy rain, I was directed to the Woolshed at Jondaryan (pronounced John Darren, I am told)
What a wonderful history found here - last privately owned by the Routelge family and touted as the largest woolshed in the world. You have to see it to believe. Wonderful old farming buildings, machinery and equipment from yesteryear as well as a museum with a modest admission (so worth it). Ask Mary-Lou, she has all the answers.
Added to this is spacious grassed camping area with great facilities - amenities block, laundry, camp kitchen and fire pit and pet friendly! How about staying in a quirky cabin or perhaps the shearers quarters - quite an experience, I am told! You will be welcomed by John at the caretaker cottage when checking in.
The place is now managed by Toowoomba Shire and managed very well for caravanners and as well as a function centre. Many regional events are held here with great success - Spring at the Woolshed 27&28 September. Check Facebook for other upcoming events. This place is not to be missed. I planned to stay one night but instead stayed three!
