点评:For the undiscerning I am sure that the service may be adequate. But for those of us who know better, todays experience may be instructive.
I went to the front desk with two personal notes written to friends in the state. I asked the attendant at the reception desk if she would add my two envelopes to the outgoing mail. After consulting with someone in the office behind the desk she advised me that she couldn't post my mail for me. I was flummoxed.
I told the young lady that the last time I was here reception had no problem handling my mail for me. She said she was sorry, but she couldn't mail my letters, but suggested that the golf pro shop might be able to help.
After driving the half mile to the golf shop, I was told that they may be able to help if I stop back by on Monday (two days from now). I told him thank you, but I will be back home in Connecticut on Monday and could mail the two letters to my friends in Oklahoma by handing them to my mail courier.
I don't know if the problem is a lack of education, a lack of hiring standards, a lack of training, or a simple lack of caring, but mailing two letters at the front desk should not be a Herculean task.
