Superb spa day!

点评：Absolutely fabulous day at the spa. We had an all day spa package which included a treatment, 2 course lunch, and full use of the spa facilities.
My therapist was Jade, who made me feel really comfortable, and was able to tweak my treatment as I didn't want the facial part of the package. The massage I had was absolutely superb, and I felt relaxed and looked after throughout.
I have a fish & shellfish allergy, which can be difficult particularly in any Asian fusion style restaurants. This was the first time, in 45 years (!), that I've been given a bespoke menu for my particular allergy. I wish more restaurants would do this, as it made everything so much easier, both for myself and the restaurant staff as they didn't have to check an allergen list. The food was really tasty and well presented.
The spa itself is brilliant - a wide range of spaces and steam / sauna rooms. It was also easy to get a seat wherever we wanted one. Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff worked hard to keep it this way.
Definitely our favourite spa in the north east, and we've been to quite a few!
