My buddy, on the other hand, has been fly fishing for decades, and Chris seamlessly adapted to both of our skill levels—giving me the fundamentals I needed while offering more advanced insights to my friend.
He not only took us to the right spots but also broke down casting techniques in a way that made sense, helping me refine my approach throughout the day. He knew exactly what to use—whether dry flies, wet flies, nymphs, or San Juan worms—based on the time of day and conditions.
Thanks to his guidance, we landed nine trout, including rainbows and Gila. Beyond the fishing, the winter scenery was unbeatable, and the entire experience was both relaxing and rewarding.
