A Beautiful Montalcino Winery with delicious Brunello Di Montalcino to Taste

点评：We chose visiting this winery after much research and glad we did. Co d' Orcia is the largest organic winery in Tuscany. They bottle 800,000 bottles per year. They also make beer.
Our guide gave just us two a lovely tour of the crowds, cellars and a tasting of 5 wines.
The first was Chardonnay - which surprised us.
The Second was Rosso Di Montalcino 2021 which was 100% Sangiovese that is aged 12 to 18 months.
Third was the world famous Brunello which is also 100% Sangiovese but this one is aged 5 years.
Fourth was Nearco This is a blend of Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (I am not a fan of the SuperTuscan blends)
Fifth (for an additional 10 Euro fee) was the 2015 Brunello Di Montalcino RESERVA ($90 per bottle) that is aged 6 years and was of course my favorite.
We also tasted their extra virgin olive oil that was excellent.
This is a charming winery with excellent wines to taste.
