The Vermont Country Store的点评
点评：I've been to the VT Country Store off and on for decades, starting when a youngster. I'd not been in a decade or more, so decided to take a Sunday drive and check it out. It will be the last time I venture there.
No longer the quaint, authentic country store it once was, it's now a grossly overpriced boutique for those with money to waste. They have expanded it maybe 5-6 times its original size; they are selling junk they have never traditionally carried; and the prices are obscene ... even worse than any other tourist trap location I've been to on this trip. I mean the very same items are two to three times more expensive than other over-priced shops.
It no longer has any country store charm, which is what it still tries to play up in its marketing.
What an horrendous let down to see a place that was once so wonderful and remarkable reduced to such a disastrous low.
