点评：The snorkeling around the pier was very cool! The pilings are a little unnerving to swim between, but it was worth it! We saw sea turtles, a spotted ray, and lots of fish. The steps to get into the water are quite a ways to the left of the pier, so you have to snorkel along the shoreline towards the pier, then down the length of it to get to the pilings. We didn't have our fins because we packed light and it took about 20 minutes at a leisurely pace to get out that far. We did encounter a problem when a huge boat came in to dock. A dock worker (we think) yelled at us to get out of the water and that they called the police, but there was no quicker way out of the water than to swim back to where we got in. It was very stressful being with my teenage/adult daughters swimming as fast as we could as the boat came in. It was a large commercial boat or supply ferry maybe. We weren't the only snorkelers in the water, and there were no signs about the pier being in use. It was probably our fault for not knowing the schedule, but I definitely wouldn't recommend going snorkeling in the late afternoon, lol. Otherwise it was an amazing experience.
