What a huge disappointment!

点评：I have been to Bertani before very successfully, and tempted 10 friends to what I thought would be a memorable, competent and interesting visit at Bertani seeing the beautiful palace, the garden with the pond and hearing the story about the owner +++. BUT, they did not tell me at any point that the palace and the garden this time was closed for a wedding the whole weekend. We therefore got a very quick visit into the cellar and then straight to the noisy tasting room. All 25-30 people in a group mixed with Italians, so the "speaches" were made first in English and then in Italian. In the tasting room our guide just had a fixed message she presented. No passion, no time, no interest. Poor English with bad acoustics. Just preprogrammed with a ridiculous speed . We slowed her down for 2 minutes, but then she was on it again. Could have listened to a recorder and seen a film. Very sad, totally wasted time and money. We have been to 20ish wine tastings and this was the worst ever. No palace, no garden, no wine specialist to tell us anything with depth. Just highly commercialized business. Don't go without asking in depth what you will get to see and hear. I have seen the best of Bertani but this was the WORST!
