Reviews were great but our experience was not.

点评：It's a little upsetting to read good reviews about a place and be disappointed when you actually go there. We wanted to visit 2 wineries in Langhorne Creek travelling from Victor Harbour - 1 for lunch and 1 for tasting. From the reviews, we chose Lake Breeze for lunch (smaller winery, more personable service & the reviews said the food was good). We were pleased that when we arrived it didn't look busy. However, the greeting was rather indifferent and the first thing he said was that they are too busy and although we can be seated in the restaurant we would only be able to get platters. In that case, we chose to sit outside.
We ordered a large platter and a couple of rounds of wines and spent a nice afternoon in the pleasant weather - best part of the visit. I am not sure what happened that day, but we didn't see a lot of people leaving (there was one large group of around 10 in a minivan). I don't like bagging small businesses but feel some feedback is warranted here.
Before we left, we went inside to do some tasting. The young person serving us didn't talk much about their wines. Needless to say our whole experience was underwhelming.
