点评：Please do NOT participate in these activities as Voss fallskjermklubb/Skydive Voss are NOT showing consideration for the local community. They seem to not care about the environment, wildlife, or the local communities. Planes are spreading pollution in the form of emissions and noise over large land areas. Very frequently, in areas where wildlife and recreational living and activities should be shown consideration. If you are not part of the solution, you ARE part of the problem. Do you want to be part of the problem for the local community in and around Voss? If not, use the Vossvind indoor wind tunnel as a perfect alternative to skydiving. It is a safe and environmentally friendly alternative.
Voss fallskjermklubb/Skydive Voss have been given chances to correct their ways, and to show consideration, but choose to ignore the problems. There is no excuse for being ignorant about these problems in 2024. Either you show consideration or you choose to be selfish and ignorant. Do NOT be selfish and ignorant together with Voss fallskjermklubb/Skydive Voss!
Emissions from aviation are a significant contributor to climate change. Airplanes burn fossil fuels, which not only releases CO2 emissions but also has strong warming non-CO2 effects due to nitrogen oxides. These non-CO2 effects contribute twice as much to global warming as aircraft CO2.
Aircraft noise pollution from aircraft in flight has been associated with several negative stress-mediated health effects, from sleep disorders to cardiovascular disorders. In 1910, the Nobel Prize winner Robert Koch predicted that “one day man will have to fight noise as fiercely as cholera and pest”. That day has long since arrived, it seems.
