点评：It’s been many years since I had last visited the Lecht Ski Area and my memory was of short, steep runs either side of the road. This was at a time when I was learning to ski so that may reflect my recall. Since we were in the area recently we stopped off for old times sake to have a look however even allowing for climate change we didn’t expect snow in June and we were correct in that assumption. Getting good conditions for skiing even in winter in Scotland is not often guaranteed either.
Anyway at least there was now a chairlift to add to the many tows/pomas.
I thought there may have been some activity with mountain bikes or a scenic trip up the hill. Nothing was open, including the café, so perhaps everything is mothballed until winter. By way of compensation the Strathdon area is a scenic drive.
