Disappointing stay. Past its best.
Kells Bay House & Gardens的点评
点评：We had a one night stay and overall, while there were some positives, we cannot recommend it. Most disappointing was our room“The Preece”. Do not accept this room if given it. It’s above the kitchen and the constant noise from it only ended after 10pm and resumed again from 730. Constant and Loud, especially the extractor right outside the window. Also no view.
We complained and the evening answer was “it will end soon” and the morning answer on check out was “what can we do about it?”
The food was take away standard and that is the restaurants main turnover- we had to ask the waitress for napkins and cutlery, and we opened our own wine.
Generally the place could do with a deep clean, especially the common area carpets.
It’s such a magnificent house, setting and gardens (highlight) and it won’t take much to improve its failings, but for now, I wouldn’t recommend it, especially the service and The Preece room on 1st floor.
