点评:We like historical buildings and this one caught our attention because it was featured in the Daytripper tv show (if you go to Castroville, watch the show before you go to learn about the history). The Landmark Historic Site was very well maintained and the staff member on site was very informative and helpful. The site grounds itself is well maintained and there are several nicely preserved building: The Landmark Inn (now a small museum and a rather primitive hotel where you can spend the night on the grounds), the Vance House (1849), the Grist Mill (1854), but the Medina River that was used to power the mill is dry and there really isn’t much to see). All in all, this is a very well maintained site, but it would interest only those who were very interested in Texas Hill Country history or just wanted a quiet and remote place to escape and spend the night
