点评：Raghunath temple is located at an elevation of 2050 meters above sea level in Sultanpur of Kullu at a distance of 1 km from main bus stand. Kullu is a broad open valley formed by the Beas river between Manali and Largi. People Believes that This lord Raghunath ji is the main deity of Kullu Valley. The lord Raghunath ji in this temple is believed to safeguard the entire valley from any kind of evil. This temple was built in the year 1651 by the then king of the Kullu valley, Raja Jagat Singh as a apology for all the sins that he did. The main shrine houses the black stone idol of Lord Ram was brought from Ayodhya.

Raghunath temple is built in the traditional pahari style which is simple yet very beautiful. The temple is made of stone and wood, reflecting the local architectural style of the Kully Valley. The roof is slanted, which helps shed snow during the winter.

Dussehra is the biggest festival celebrated here in this temple, which falls in October or November month of every year. During the festival, people and pilgrimes comes here throughout India to celebrate the power of good over evil and to have darshan of lord Raghunath.
