Disappointing trip to Landour
Landour的点评
点评：Landour as a place was very disappointing. We went in the evening post 6pm thinking it would be a busy area similar to the Mall Road but it was nothing like that. Firstly, it took us nearly 2 hours to get there via the narrow roads and traffic congestion. Apparently, it would have been a lot worse if he had made the journey in the morning.
We asked the driver to drop us off at the Chaar Dukaan area. The place literally had only 4 shops ! The whole place was so deserted and eerie. A few tourists were enquiring about the Landour Bake House and we decided to follow them as we wanted to check out the very Insta famous cafe too. We kept walking on the dark, deserted streets and finally reached the cake at the end of a long road. The cafe was very busy and had many people outside taking pics of themselves with the cafe in the background. We were looking for treats that we could take back home but sadly, they had run out of everything that was travel worthy.
So, we started walking in the attempt of trying to find a place where we could have dinner. We went to Rokeby's Manor and enjoyed the rest of the evening there. Landour was everything that we hadn't expected. Quite a disappointment really.
