One twin lives in Bristol and the other in Cornwall, both of which are hundreds of miles away from me. My husband, their grandfather, sadly passed away recently and we wanted to spend some time together and make the best of everything as I don't see them a lot. Then very unfortunately one of my grandchildren caught a nasty virus and is unable to visit. So I phoned Hollywood Bowl to cancel and ask for a refund of the £29 I had made. I was refused a refund and told I could make another reservation. This is impossible to do as they live so far away. I explained this to them and the fact that I am 74 years old and have ill health. I was still refused a refund. I then sent an email to the head office but I was still refused a refund. I told them I will never again set foot in any of their premises and they can keep the £29 but remember that money came from a pensioner. Whqt a nasty establishment they are with no customer service.
