This park is a rare gem of an oasis, where visitors can fulfil their dreams, be it relaxing in natural surroundings, with flora and fauna, fishing, walking, running, cycling etc.
In addition to a children’s play area there is a lake with numerous resident birds. Toilet facilities are ample and there is an establishment serving food and drinks not to mention most welcome ice cream on a hot day.
As a bonus the parking is free, at least until September 2024, alas.
The walkways are conducive for wheelchair or mobility vehicle use. There are sitting areas with benches to have a picnic and the grass is welcoming too on a dry day.
All in all this park will provide a welcome escape from the mundane routine and concrete jungle without costing hardly anything at present. Check it out.
