Stunning setting, average wines and limited opening hours

点评：Visited Dryridge estate while visiting the blue mountains recently.
The first thing worth noting is that it’s located in Megalong valley, so it’s about a 45 minute drive from Katoomba (location of echo point and three sisters) one way. One and a half hours return. It’s in the opposite direction to Sydney so it’s a bit of a time investment to come here. The second thing to note is that it’s only open Saturday and Sunday (plus Friday in winter only) so has quite limited opening hours.
When we visited we had a flight of wine which was $15 and I believe included about half a dozen wines. They were ok. Not bad. Not great. We did get upsold into purchasing a plowmans board, as the waitress told us it wasnt very big (we are two people and it’s advertised for 4). I felt like this was way too much food and was the classical Sydney upsell. That kind of annoyed me as I felt compelled to eat ‘beyond full’.
The setting itself was stunning with beautiful views over megalong valley. The staff were friendly enough.
Overall it was a reasonable place to visit.
