点评：I sincerely hope that anyone considering booking with Island Wings takes this review seriously.
This was one of the biggest disappointments of our trip and, in my opinion, a complete waste of money.
We specifically booked the Duo Flight because it is advertised as two people flying side by side in separate seaplanes, sharing the experience together. That is exactly what convinced us to pay the premium price.
Instead, when we arrived, we were informed that one aircraft was unavailable due to maintenance. As a result, one of us had to fly in a completely different type of seaplane. We were never informed of this beforehand. Had we known, we would have cancelled or booked with another company.
Because the two aircraft have different speeds, we spent almost the entire flight apart. Most of the time we couldn't even see each other, completely defeating the purpose of booking the Duo Flight.
What made the experience even worse was how the situation was handled afterwards. Rather than showing understanding or taking responsibility, we were met with a defensive attitude and sarcastic remarks. Even after giving Island Wings the opportunity to resolve the matter, they refused to acknowledge that they had failed to provide the experience they advertise.
I understand that technical issues can happen, but failing to communicate them in advance, delivering a completely different experience than promised, and then refusing to take any responsibility is simply unacceptable.
I genuinely would not recommend this company to anyone. Please don't make the same mistake we did. There are other companies that deserve your money far more than one that misleads its customers and fails to stand behind its own promises.
