点评：Mohishadal Rajbari, a place which was once habitated by the renowned Garg family, is now lacking its grandeur due to lack of maintenance. Still a private property, it is really difficult to carry out regular renovations without any government aid. The outer aspect of the palace still has its elegant white-golden outlook. Only a few rooms of the front part, now turned into a museum, is open to visitors. These rooms stacks old gramophones, chairs & thrones, books etc that wete household items of the Gargs. Stuffed animals once killed by them are also there. But every item present shows lack of cleaning and maintenance. The inside premises are out-of-bounds. However, 5 rooms have been organized to act as overnight accommodation for those who will love to spend a night or two there. Some old canons lie scattered around in the courtyard. There is a cafetetia just beside the entrance "Rajar Haley", serves good coffee and light snacks. One can spend a leisurely evening in this place during the winters.
