点评：We booked this hoping for a similar experience to the Teide by Night tour we previously took in Tenerife and really loved. We arrived on time but waited a further 30 minutes standing outside the office until everyone who had booked was there. We were the only English speakers in our group of around 25.
We all had to take our cars and we drove for over one hour in the dark up to a viewpoint on the road to the observatory. So 2 hours had passed and we had yet to start the tour.
We had a short talk on the night sky and finding the constellations, jokes and laughs for the Spanish-speaking, a few quick words for us. Then what the telescopes were set up for were looking at stars in a cluster. Nothing about planets and seeing them via the scopes which would have been more interesting for us. Just queue for the telescope, can you see some small bright lights there ? Yes, that's it. Repeated times two. My husband thought that the guide could not answer some of his questions and was unimpressed at the knowledge level. Then at around 11pm it was all about people getting photos via their phones and we were not into all that and left. We were very cold despite full winter clothing, including puffa jackets, hats and gloves. One hour again, down the hairpin bends, rabbits scattering before the headlamps. I think the rabbits in the road were the thing I liked best. Back to the hotel at 0030. We really wished we had not done it.
