Camelback Mountain Ski Resort的点评
点评：We visited with a party of four on Dec 21 2024. I used to ski here regularly.
Overall:
- Ok food with NYC prices
- Wonderful staff and good instructors
- Expensive tickets
- Buggy / confusing website
- Parking fined us even though we legitimately bought a premium parking pass
- Ticket machines dont work well and there’s not enough staff to deal w/ it
- Only 1/5 of trails were open
- Trail conditions were crowded, icy, & poorly lit
- No discount for friends / family with an Ikon Pass
The Good:
- The staff were really nice and friendly
- The private instructors were great
- 6/10 food
The Bad:
- Can’t get friends / family discounts with an Ikon Pass
- Buggy website. I was charged for lift tickets, but never received them.
- 2/3 of the automated entry ticket machines errored when printing my ticket
- Paid $40 for the premium (closest) parking. Note that parking used to be free.
- The parking lot fined us an additional $40 because they didnt recognize our license plate.
- From 8:30 am - 11:00 am, Only the bunny slope was open
- Only one ski lift (Black Bear 6) was open after noon.
- Only 7/35 trails in total were open in total
- Dangerous overcrowding due to lack of open trails
- Despite snowing the night before, it was very icy
- The only open trails had no lights. This makes skiing after sunset (5pm) effectively useless
