I honestly don’t know how Newham Grange Farm is still open. The whole place looks neglected and run down, like it hasn’t had a penny spent on it in years. There were barely any animals to see, and the ones that were there didn’t exactly make the visit worthwhile. Everything felt dirty and badly maintained, which completely ruined the experience.
The café was somehow even worse. The staff were rude and uninterested, and half the time there’s no food available anyway because they seem to close the tills over an hour before the actual closing time. When you finally can get food, it’s ridiculously overpriced £3 for beans on toast and you get one slice of toast with a tiny scoop of beans. Absolute joke.
To top it off, there wasn’t even any cutlery available for warm meals, which just sums up how badly organised the whole place is. It genuinely feels like no effort or investment has gone into this farm for at least the last three years. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about visitors and animals.
