Witches Gulch的点评
点评：We took the upper dells boat tour because we wanted to see Witches Gulch. The boat we were put on crammed 214 people on like sardines. We were some of the last few people on the boat and had to sit in the back next to a huge silver life vest case, and just behind the “head” which blocked our view for most of the tour. The intended 2 hour trip lasted well over 3 hours because our boat moved at a snails pace in addition to the fact that we had to wait for 214 people to explore each location and get back on the boat before we were able to depart again. As you can imagine, being in a small area, such as Witches Gulch, with over 200 people is less than ideal. There were also multiple other boats that left AFTER us from the same tour company that beat us to the Gulch and Stand Stone Rock, and back to the dock well before us. Witches Gulch was really cool, and we enjoyed it a lot, but being surrounded by so many people really took away from the natural beauty of the tour. And because it took almost double the time (over 3.5 hours), it was intended to, it soaked up most of our day, and we missed reservations for other activities. Definitely not the trip we were hoping for. My suggestion is if you do decide to go on this tour and are told to get on the “nice dinner cruise boat”, wait for a smaller boat.
