点评:A company with no compassion, empathy or understanding with rigid 'terms and conditions'. My parents arrived at the theatre to see Jason and his Technicolour Dream Coat, but when their tickets were scanned, they were told it was for the previous day's show. They were told they could purchase new tickets to see the show. My elderly parents were there, in the theatre, and obviously there had been some confusion on their part, there were spare seats, so I am sure there could have been something done to alleviate the confusion and upset at the theatre staff's discretion. Maybe Sunderland Empire Theatre and ATG, need to look at their 'terms of condition' again, and allow, in special circumstances, some form of gesture of goodwill when obvious, honest errors are made. In response to mine and my parents complaint about their experience, the company reiterated their very 'black and white' terms and that my parents would have had to purchase new tickets to see the show. For the sake of taking another £30 (2 £15 tickets in the gallery) when £62 had already been paid for 2 tickets? There was no deviation from the very rigid terms and conditions made by the company or the understanding that life is not always black and white. It would have made no difference to the venue or ATG.
When will kindness and understanding prevail over profit?
