点评:Whilst this is a very nice Menswear shop in the same family of shops as Peacocks and Bonmarché (all owned by The Edinburgh Woolen Mill company), it is also a bit of tourist trap, given its location in the bizarrely named village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
Outside the large shop and cafe is another sign displaying the ridoculous village name, and this is a frequently photographed sign. In actual fact, it is probably the first thing most tourists see, as the shop sits on the edge of the principle village car park, right where the coaches park.
Inside you will find a great selection of menswear, along with the usual trappings found in a place such as this. Fudge, alcohol and the like.
Perhaps most importantly of all, you will find a selection of touristy items - from pencils to bookmarks, fridge magnets to tea-towels, all bearing the name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. I unashamedly became a tourist this day, and I am proud of it. I have long wished to visit this village, and this is a big tick off of the proverbial "bucket list."
There is a cafe inside James Pringle Weavers, though alas we didn't visit it due to having two increasingly tired children in tow.
I am delighted we visited this shop, and indeed the entire village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
James Pringle Weavers
