Antanas Cesnulis Sculpture Park的点评
点评：This is a fun place to visit and definitely a must see! Antanas Cesnulis, the artist, and his wife (I'm assuming that's who she was) were both there at the entrance and were so friendly! I don't remember how much the entrance fee was but it was well worth it - just chatting with them made it worthwhile even though I only speak English and they speak Russian with limited English. I even bought his book which has translations for 4 different languages. There are so many sculptures - some wood, some metal, some huge, some small, some animated, some elaborate, some simple... Such a great variety and so creative and beautiful. It was fun to walk up to the top of the windmill, too, and see the view from up there. BTW, the windmill was built by Antanas Cesnulis.
The park is about 4km from the centre of Druskininkai. I rode a bike there and had some trouble finding it. I didn't see any signs along the way from town. When I was nearish, a very kind local man pointed me in the right direction. He even went out of his way and walked a few blocks with me! It may be helpful to know that the sculpture park is located in Naujasodes Village. There is a 1 km long dirt road from the main road to the park and village. The first "sign" (it was a wooden sculpture) I saw was at the corner of the main road and the dirt road.
