Nice courtyards, pushy sellers
Yogyakarta Palace的点评
点评：A nice place to walk around for a bit. Only found one of the museums and that was interesting but not a whole lot much else to see.
I would rate this as average if it wasn’t for the huge number of scammers hovering around. We entered another courtyard that had multiple men in the same uniform all with photo id lanyards. One came up and told us there were “three free activities” included in our tickets. We were tired anyway and wanted to leave but he doubled down saying he “works for the government/palace” and that we didn’t need to give him any money and that the activities were free and he would walk us too them. He started walking but we said no again and asked him to point us to the exit. He did and the left us alone. We went through the gate he pointed us to. Immediately two other men, not in uniform, tried to steer us to these “three free activities” to which we said no again and again.
The “activities” were coffee making, batik making, and I forget the third. Apparently these activities are in the village and not part of the palace.
