点评:We visited the Tanah Lot Temple during a cloudy and a bit rainy day, however the weather did not influence our enthusiasm of this place. It took more then 1 hour drive to reach the palce from Nusa Dua, despite it’s located quite close to Denpassar.
Once we had paid an entrance fee a whole area of beautiful gates and other sacred places built just few meters above the relentless pounding of the Indian Ocean’s waves opened to us.
After a short walk we reached the Temple and must state that it was breathtaking. It is bulit on a small solid rock island, however not accessible for the public… but nevermind, one can have a walk under on a stone ground beach (not sure whether possible during a high tide). The visit can be combined with other sightseeings (located also in the north of the island, as we had… combination with Ulun Danu Beratan Temple).
