点评:We visited Tanah Lot temple around sunset (around 4pm) and it was beautiful, the tide was just starting to come in and you could access the temple via rocks. Jandals are okay over the rocks, though tread carefully as rock pools are abundant.
The entrance fee is 75k for tourists (adults). You walk through markets and restaurants on your way to the coast.
There’s a lot more to see than the temple alone, there are coastal walkways and grassy areas which are all well maintained and pretty. There are vendors all around the area, including live snakes where you can take pictures if you would like. Plenty of room to haggle prices.
It was very busy when we went to expect a lot of people in your photos of the temple.
Pro: the costal views are beautiful
Con: it was VERY busy around the temple
Tip: if you’re catching a Grab, you need to walk a distance from the Tanah Lot entrance (toward the township around 1km away), as they are unable to pick up close to the entrance.
All in all, I’m glad we went, but one visit was enough.
